@Chris, Where can I research or at least stay current on LTC insurance options?

Hey Ben, you can start researching at AARP:

https://www.aarp.org/caregiving/financial-legal/info-2021/understanding-long-term-care-insurance.html

Several websites allow you to compare long-term care insurance quotes and options from multiple providers:

- LongTermCare.gov

- AALTCI.org (American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance)

- CompareLongTermCare.org

These sites let you input your information and receive customized quotes from various insurers.

When exploring options, be sure to compare:

- Types of policies (traditional, hybrid, etc.)

- Coverage amounts and limits

- Elimination periods

- Premium costs and payment options

- Insurer financial strength ratings

- Policy features like inflation protection

These are my outline notes for a future article, so you may see more soon!

My husband has been researching LTC options in Thailand. He’s instructed me to ship him there when if the time comes. It’s definitely an option and much more affordable.

I know there's some interesting options in other countries, it may be a subject for a new article!
